Chinese Pokémon 30th Anniversary Collection: Release Timeline and Product Lineup

The Chinese Pokémon 30th Anniversary collection (30周年庆典) is the Simplified Chinese celebration of 30 years of Pokémon. It is not a single set but a whole product family: a booster pack, special illustration card sets, premium gift boxes, collector figures, deluxe deck products and a wide range of playing accessories, released across two stages in 2026.

Release timeline

The collection was released in distinct stages rather than all at once - an important point when planning restocks, because early-stage products and the September wave behave very differently in the market.

• 2026-03-20 - First Partner Special Illustration Card Set Vol.1–3. The opening wave introduced the collection with three volumes of a special illustration card set, released ahead of the main celebration.
• 2026-09-16 - the main 30th Celebration wave. The 30th Celebration booster pack launched alongside the flagship premium products, including the Colorful Future Memorial Gift Box.

If you only need the headline date: the booster pack and the flagship gift box released on 16 September 2026, while the First Partner card sets had already been on the market since 20 March 2026. Treat any source that states "all 30th Anniversary products launched in September" as incomplete.

The product lineup, by product type

The collection covers six distinct product types. The collection page lets you filter by any of them.

Booster pack

30th Celebration Booster Pack is the core sealed product of the collection. It is an all-foil booster: every card in the pack is foil, with FUR rarity and a set of 30 Pikachu card arts, one of which is guaranteed per pack. The all-foil construction is what separates it from a normal expansion booster and is the main reason sealed packs stay in demand. Special illustration card sets

Two families sit in this category:

• First Partner Special Illustration Card Set Vol.1–3 - each set contains one special illustration foil card of a first-partner Pokémon plus an acrylic magnetic card display frame. The three volumes released together on 20 March 2026 and are usually collected as a set. See the First Partner Special Illustration Card Set page.
• Card Display Sets - single foil ex cards supplied with a card display case, sold as themed release items.

Gift boxes

The premium end of the collection. The Colorful Future Memorial Gift Box is the flagship: it includes two FUR-style Pikachu ex cards together with card sleeves, a playmat case, damage-counter dice, two Pokémon coins, a deck storage box, a battle playmat, a damage-counter storage box, poison and burn markers and a card display frame. Collector / figure products

Deluxe deck products

The Deluxe Deck Set is a playable product family released in two versions. Each set supplies a complete ready-to-play Pokémon ex deck together with battle accessories, a metal deck box, a playmat, a coin and paper damage counters - a practical entry point for new players and a common gift purchase.

Accessories

A large share of the collection is playing and collecting accessories: art card sleeves, a rubber two-player battle playmat, a card collection binder, a coin collection album, a coin display frame, coin sets, a deck storage box and a damage-counter storage box. These are high-repeat items for stores and are frequently ordered alongside sealed product rather than on their own.

Authenticity and sealed condition

Popular anniversary product attracts counterfeits, so condition and provenance matter more here than in an ordinary expansion.

• Buy sealed. Factory-sealed packs, boxes and gift boxes retain both value and the ability to prove authenticity. Once a premium gift box is opened, the accessories inside are difficult to verify individually.
• Check the foil treatment. The 30th Celebration booster is an all-foil product. A "30th" pack whose cards are not foil is a straightforward warning sign.
• Expect a sealed case market. Like other anniversary lines, sealed cases of the booster tend to be traded as their own unit.

Considerations for overseas wholesale buyers

• Two buying windows, two behaviours. The March card sets are established product by now; the September wave is the volume driver. Plan the two separately rather than treating the collection as one order.
• Accessories travel better than you expect. Sleeves, binders, albums and storage boxes are light, hard to damage and have steady repeat demand - useful filler that improves the economics of a sealed-product shipment.
• Mixed orders work. Different product types from this collection can be combined in a single shipment, and the minimum order quantity is confirmed in your quotation - the usual way buyers test an anniversary line.
• Shipping terms. DDP, DAP and EXW are all available; the right choice depends on your destination and how you handle import duties.
• Confirm before you commit. Anniversary stock moves quickly and availability by product type changes week to week, so confirm current stock rather than planning from a past quotation.
